SINGLE PIECE JACKETED BALL VALVES
HALF JACKETED BALL VALVE
In this type of Valve, it is not required to go with one size higher flanges, for bolting learance as sufficient gap is available between Flange and Jacket Body. All partial half jacketed valve face to face distance is as per ASME B 16.10 standard which facilitate to replace in future with any standard non jacketed valve also. Partial Half Jacketed Ball Valves are used to maintain fluid temperature during an operation to keep fluids at flow-able liquid stage.
FULL JACKETED BALL VALVE
The Jacket covers the body from one flange to the other flange. Valve body is modified by adding oversize flanges. Eg 2 x 3 Steam Jacketed Valve has the nominal bore of 2 and the flange size is 3. It allows enough space for bolting clearance after jacket fabrication on valve body. The valve is provided with 3 nozzle connection for inlet, outlet and drain of external media. Full Jacketed valves are used to handle highly viscous materials or materials that solidifiescrystalizes at ambient temperatures
